As the taping of the documentary began in early October, Dr. Sambridhi was able to share from the heart about what brought her to the resolve that God was calling her to Nepal now. However, the calling had started years ago, and she knew the time had come.
When you see the beauty of Nepal with your own eyes, you feel it within your own heart. Then you realize that serving those in need is the greatest gift and proof of God's love working in us and out to others.
Allow your heart to be captured by the stories of others and what they are facing during this time of rebuilding in Nepal.
I'm a Nepali-Australian medical doctor and missionary, driven by a deep, heartfelt commitment to serving in austere environments and among vulnerable patient communities. I'm preparing to go to Nepal in October to provide medical disaster relief for the Bhotekoshi flash flood response. My clinical work covers a broad spectrum of care, including general and integrative medicine, skin cancer medicine, sexual health medicine, urgent and acute care, refugee and asylum seeker health, correctional care, and expedition & field medicine. My clinical experience, combined with a genuine passion for humanity, gives me the privilege of bringing meaningful change to vulnerable communities in need, whether I'm in the field or caring for patients in Australia.
